Weed Eater PE550 8.1/2-Inch 22 cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered Poweredge Lawn Edger Review

I’ve owned two of these, for the price they’re great home owner edgers. The first one I had didn’t really die, the pull start cord just wore out (after about 5 yrs) and I just bought another rather than replace the recoil mechanism. Not sure why the recoil would wear out, it started fine every year which is why I bought another. Anyway, I actually like this unit better than the larger more expensive ones because it’s small and easy to handle and uses less storage space. For major edging (like taking 10″ off the lawn) you need to go a little slower but not any big deal, it cuts thru it fine, for your typical beginning of the year edge and trims thru the summer this is a great little edger.
